Eagle (Schooner) logbook, 1753.

The logbook of the schooner Eagle details a shipping voyage from Salem, Mass., to the Azores, Madeira, and return to Salem, Aug. to Nov. 1753. The ship was captained by Ebenezer Bowditch Jr., who also kept the logbook. The logbook includes illustrations (profile views) and an incident of a wound or injury to a sailor on board.
